The mind can go in a thousand directions, but on this beautiful path, I walk in peace.  ~Thich Nhat Hanh

As a mental health professional, I’ve seen how chronic stress comes at us from every direction—work pressures, financial problems, health concerns, troubling headlines, suppressed trauma. Persistent stress like this floods us with negative thoughts, feelings, and sensations, triggering a steady stream of “fight-or-flight” hormones.

This stress response can disrupt our peace of mind in profound ways. It can leave us feeling anxious, losing sleep, and prone to painful headaches. Over time, chronic stress weakens our immune system, increasing the risk of serious illness down the road.

Here’s the good news! Mindfulness can help.

Mindfulness focuses our attention fully on the present moment—the “Now”. As a mindfulness practitioner and coach, I’ve seen firsthand how entering the Now turns off the brain’s stress response and restores our peace of mind. Many important benefits come our way when mindfulness is practiced regularly. And there’s plenty of research to back it up.

But weaving a mindfulness practice into our busy lives and sustaining it over time can be challenging. That’s why I offer ENTER THE NOW.

ENTER THE NOW

RECLAIM YOUR PEACE OF MIND

Peace is present right here and now, in ourselves and in everything we do and see. The question is whether or not we are in touch with it. —Thich Nhat Hanh

This 6-week private coaching program is designed to help you get started on the path of mindfulness. It focuses on creating a personalized, home-based practice based on sustainable mindfulness.

Sustainable mindfulness utilizes easy-to-learn exercises that have been proven to develop and maintain the attention skills needed to enter the “Now.” But while breathwork and body scans are important, this practice isn’t confined to a cushion or yoga mat. It’s infused into your daily routine.

You’ll learn how to see everything you think, say, and do as an opportunity to turn stress off and peace of mind on. These touchpoints of presence live in ordinary moments: riding the elevator, walking your dog, active listening. Practiced often, these touchpoints naturally build over time to make mindfulness—and your happiness—a sustainable part of your life.

As your mindfulness coach, I’ll:

  • Assess your specific needs, challenges, and goals.

  • Teach you mindfulness exercises best suited to who you are.

  • Help you stay focused and motivated, especially during this start-up phase of your practice.

  • Work with you through any difficult emotions, thoughts, or reactions you may face along the way.

Online apps and podcasts can help get you started, but they can’t replace the personalized guidance and real-time support you get by working with a skilled mindfulness coach.

My aim is to help you live in the Nowevery dayand enjoy a lifetime of peace, joy, and contentment, no matter where your journey may take you.
